Crab and Shrimp Mac and Cheese: A Decadent Twist on a Classic Comfort Food

Macaroni and cheese is a staple comfort food for many of us, but it can get repetitive after a while. That's why we're excited to introduce our latest twist on this classic dish - crab and shrimp mac and cheese! This indulgent recipe combines the creamy pasta with succulent crab and shrimp, creating a flavor profile that's both rich and refreshing.

To start, place a sauté pan over high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add 1 pound of rock shrimp to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds, until they're pink and fragrant. Whisk in 2 cups of grated cheese (we recommend a mix of cheddar, Parmesan, and Gruyère) and cook on low heat until the sauce begins to thicken. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a separate sauce pot, bring 1 cup of heavy cream to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and whisk in another 2 cups of grated cheese (yes, you read that right - we're going big on the cheese front!). Cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy, stirring occasionally.
